Rules to follow
*PLEASE BE ON TIME
Morning pick-up: The bus company gives you a pick-up schedule for your children in the morning. As stipulated in the contract, children must be ready 5 minutes before the pick-up time. For the well-being of all children, the bus will not wait if your child is not ready.
Afternoon pick-up: You should also be aware that the bus will not wait more than 10 minutes after class dismissal time on the return journey. Departure at 2.10 p.m. maximum for the 2 p.m. dismissal time, 3.40 p.m. for the 3.30 p.m. dismissal time and 5.35 p.m. for the 5.25 p.m. dismissal time.
*FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE
All parents have provided their children's timetables, so that the bus company can make the best possible arrangements for afternoon transport. These timetables are fixed for the school year and can no longer be changed "on demand" by parents each day. There will be a tolerance for exceptions, however, bus companies will only accept last minute schedule changes when possible and as long as it does not disproportionately affect the travel time of other children
*RESPECT SECURITY MEASURES
We ask parents to make their children aware of the importance of wearing seatbelts on the bus. The "Bus Mothers" are there to check that all children are wearing their seatbelts when the bus departs, but they are sometimes powerless when a child decides to unbuckle constantly.

School transport is registered and paid for directly with the service providers, through a service contract concluded directly between the families concerned and the carrier.
Two bus companies are in place depending on where the student is picked up.

The rates listed in the documents below are per child and per period:
For the current school year (2024-2025):
1) First period - September 2 to November 15, 2024
2) Second period - November 18, 2024 to January 31, 2025
3) Third period - February 3 to April 16, 2025
4) Fourth period - April 21 to July 4, 2025
Charges per quarter (approximately 45 days)
Rates may change without prior notice
The price for one way ride is equivalent to 80% of the listed rate
Departure times at the end of the day:
1st departure: 2:00 pm
2nd departure: 3:30pm
3rd departure: 5:30pm

Covoiturage
Le 8 janvier 2024, l'Association des Parents d'Élèves (APE) a lancé la nouvelle application gratuite de covoiturage exclusivement réservée aux familles fréquentant le LFM.
Cette initiative, qui vise à renforcer la sécurité et la confidentialité tout en offrant un service de covoiturage pratique et convivial à notre communauté, aurait normalement un coût. Cependant, dans le cadre de notre engagement envers la communauté LFM, nous avons le plaisir de vous informer que l'utilisation de cette application sera entièrement gratuite pour toutes les familles inscrites à l'école.

L'application de covoiturage sera administrée et modérée par des parents bénévoles de notre école. Cette initiative communautaire est rendue possible grâce à l'engagement de parents du LFM qui souhaitent contribuer à la réussite de cette nouvelle plateforme. Derrière cette application se trouve Mobicoop, une entreprise française dédiée à la promotion de la mobilité durable. Mobicoop utilise des technologies du logiciel libre pour assurer la transparence et la sécurité de la plateforme. Cela signifie que l'application est basée sur des solutions informatiques ouvertes, accessibles à la communauté, garantissant ainsi un environnement numérique fiable.
De plus, pour mieux servir notre communauté internationale, l'application sera disponible en anglais, permettant ainsi à tous les membres de la communauté LFM de profiter de cette solution de covoiturage, quel que soit leur niveau de maîtrise de la langue française.
