School Transportation
The Lycée Français de Manille is committed to sustainable development by promoting soft mobility and the use of public transportation to facilitate student travel and reduce environmental impact.
In line with this approach, the school's parking area is intentionally limited for private vehicles in order to better manage traffic flow and reduce congestion during drop-off and pick-up times. As a result, drop-off and pick-up may take longer than expected, particularly during peak hours.
Parking Usage Rules:
• Drive slowly (speed limit of 5km/hr);
• Strictly refrain from idling and honking;
• Be aware of pedestrians, they have priority over vehicles in all circumstances;
• Park in the parking spaces without obstructing the passage of pedestrians and cars;
• Not keep your children waiting in the vicinity of other vehicles, but to let them out of the car only when you are ready to accompany them to the lobby;
• Use the pedestrian crossings to cross the traffic lanes;
• When using the drop off lane, please do not step out of your car and avoid putting student’s bags in the trunk, a drop off should not take more than 20 seconds
Bus Service: Rules to Follow
*PLEASE BE ON TIME
Morning pick-up: The bus company gives you a pick-up schedule for your children in the morning. As stipulated in the contract, children must be ready 5 minutes before the pick-up time. For the well-being of all children, the bus will not wait if your child is not ready.
Afternoon pick-up: You should also be aware that the bus will not wait more than 10 minutes after class dismissal time on the return journey. Departure at 2.10 p.m. maximum for the 2 p.m. dismissal time, 3.40 p.m. for the 3.30 p.m. dismissal time and 5.35 p.m. for the 5.25 p.m. dismissal time.
*FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE
All parents have provided their children's timetables, so that the bus company can make the best possible arrangements for afternoon transport. These timetables are fixed for the school year and can no longer be changed "on demand" by parents each day. There will be a tolerance for exceptions, however, bus companies will only accept last minute schedule changes when possible and as long as it does not disproportionately affect the travel time of other children
*RESPECT SECURITY MEASURES
We ask parents to make their children aware of the importance of wearing seatbelts on the bus. The "Bus Mothers" are there to check that all children are wearing their seatbelts when the bus departs, but they are sometimes powerless when a child decides to unbuckle constantly.

School transport is registered and paid for directly with the service providers, through a service contract concluded directly between the families concerned and the carrier.
Two bus companies are in place depending on where the student is picked up.

The rates listed in the documents below are per child and per period:
For School Year 2025-2026:
1st Period - Sept. 1, 2025 to Nov. 13, 2025
2nd Period – Nov. 14, 2025 to Jan. 28, 2026
3rd Period – Jan. 29, 2026 to Apr. 20, 2026
4th Period – Apr. 21, 2026 to July 3, 2026
Charges per quarter (approximately 45 days)
Rates may change without prior notice
The price for one way ride is equivalent to 80% of the listed rate
Departure times at the end of the day:
1st departure: 2:00 pm
2nd departure: 3:30pm
3rd departure: 5:30pm
