ENROLLMENT AT THE LFM
STEPS TO FOLLOW
THE ONLINE REGISTRATION AND RE-REGISTRATION PROCEDURE IS MANDATORY.
Applications must be completed and sent at the latest on Sunday 5 April 2026

For all new registrations at the Lycée Français de Manille, please first contact the school's secretariat by e-mail at secretariat@lfmanille.ph to submit your registration request. You will receive the information and links for the online registration on Eduka.

The registration and re-registration process takes place completely online from a portal dedicated to families. To initiate, continue or complete the procedures with our establishment, it is necessary to connect to the EDUKA portal:

DOCUMENTS TO BE PROVIDED OR UPDATED

For students:
- Bilateral agreement 2026-2027 (document available for download click here)
- Valid passport with scan of visa for the Philippines (when available)
- Vaccination certificate with mandatory vaccinations:
For children born before 2018: Mandatory vaccinations are: diphtheria, tetanus and poliomyelitis (DTP).
For children born from 2018 onwards: The 11 mandatory vaccinations are: Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio (DTP);
Whooping cough; Invasive Haemophilus influenzae type b infections; Hepatitis B; Invasive pneumococcal infections;
Meningococcal serogroup C; Measles, mumps and rubella) and the anti-covid vaccine if the student is fully vaccinated
(not mandatory)

FOR YOUR INFORMATION
The start of the school year is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026 (provisional school calendar attached).
You will receive an email by the end of June 2025 with the details of the first day(s) of school.
Classes start at 7:30 a.m. for all, end at 2:00 p.m. for primary students and no later than 5:30 p.m. for secondary schools
according to the timetable (ref time schedule below):

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE COURSES OFFERED AT THE LFM
From the Très Petite Section (TPS) to the Terminale, the high school offers differentiated learning paths that comply
with the French national curriculum. The majority of the courses are taught in French.
The school offers 2 English language courses adapted to each level of student:
1) A strengthened language journey.
a. In primary school, this "PARLE*" system includes English as a modern language classes and courses
taught in English called "EMILE*".
b. From middle school onwards, the "LCE" foreign language and culture program includes the teaching
of English as a modern language, and hours of "DNL*".
c. In high school, students are all enrolled in the European English section, with 1 hour more in English
and 2 hours of DNL. Students obtain the Baccalaureate with a specialization in the European
section of English.
2) The British-American International "IS" Section
a. At the elementary level, students enrolled in SI benefit from courses in North American literature and
culture in addition to the PARLE course.
b. In middle school, the students are taught North American literature and culture and history and
geography in English. Third-year students take the DNBI.
c. In high school, the SI is open in Seconde, with courses in North American literature and culture and
history in English. It continues in Première with the French International Baccalaureate (BFI).
Bachelor's degree with a high level of English requirements.
Entry into the International Section is based on a selection process.
3) Individualization of courses
In middle school, in 6ème, students discover German and Spanish as a second modern language during the
first two terms and decide on the second language chosen for the third term and the rest of their schooling.
Starting 5ème, students can enroll in the "Latin" option.
Starting 2nde onwards, students can enroll in the visual arts and/or Latin option.
Starting 1ère onwards, students must choose three specialty courses, the opening of which depends on the
number of students:

ï‚· Mathematics
ï‚· Physics & Chemistry
ï‚· History-Geography, Geopolitics and Political Science
ï‚· Life & Earth Sciences
ï‚· Foreign Languages, Literature and Cultures English
ï‚· Humanities, Literature and Philosophy
ï‚· Numerical and Computer Science
Specialties that are not open or not offered can be taken at the CNED, if they are offered by the CNED and if they can be
assessed at the bachelor's level in the Asia-Pacific zone of the AEFE network.
In Terminale, students keep two of the specialties studied in Première. They have the option to take an additional
option of their choice according to the associated criteria:
ï‚· Expert mathematics for students maintaining the mathematics specialty.
ï‚· Complementary Mathematics for students dropping out of the mathematics specialty.
ï‚· Rights and Major Issues of the Contemporary World.
The Specialties and Options courses for the PREMIÈRE and TERMINALES will be filled in by the LFM administration
