Mission
The Lycée Français de Manille is recruiting a Mathematics and Technology teacher!

Under the authority of the Head of School and in alignment with the school’s educational project, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching Mathematics in accordance with the official French curriculum for middle and high school
-
Teaching Technology and EIST (Integrated Science and Technology Education) in middle school, and SNT (Digital and Technological Sciences) in high school
-
Designing and implementing a variety of teaching sequences
-
Promoting scientific inquiry and critical thinking
-
Assessing students in line with competency frameworks and monitoring their progress
-
Preparing students for French national examinations (DNB and Baccalauréat)
-
Participating in parent-teacher meetings, class councils, pedagogical meetings, and professional development sessions
-
Contributing to interdisciplinary, scientific, and educational projects within the school
-
Supporting students in their academic pathway and career guidance
-
Actively participating in school life and contributing to the outreach and reputation of LFM

Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and committed teacher capable of teaching Mathematics and Technology (previous teaching experience in this subject will be appreciated).
A degree in the subject taught is strongly preferred. Experience in a school within the French education network abroad, as well as the ability to teach Mathematics as a non-linguistic discipline (DNL) in English, will be particularly valued.
Early-career candidates with strong potential are nevertheless encouraged to apply.
This position is offered under a local contract.
