Mission

The Lycée Français de Manille is recruiting a Literature teacher!

​

Under the authority of the Head of School and in line with the school’s educational project, your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching French in accordance with the official French curriculum for middle and high school

• Teaching the HLP (Humanities, Literature and Philosophy) specialty and philosophy in the final years of high school

• Designing and implementing varied teaching sequences

• Promoting and enhancing the French language

• Assessing students in line with competency frameworks and monitoring their progress

• Preparing students for French national examinations (DNB, Baccalauréat)

• Participating in class councils, pedagogical meetings, and training activities

• Contributing to interdisciplinary, scientific, and educational projects within the school

• Supporting students in their academic pathways and career guidance

• Actively participating in school life and contributing to the outreach and reputation of LFM

Profile

We are looking for a dynamic and committed teacher, capable of teaching French, philosophy, and the HLP (Humanities, Literature and Philosophy) specialty (experience in these subjects is highly desirable).

The following will be particularly appreciated:

Experience in a school within the French international education network
The ability to teach non-French-speaking students; a certification in FLSCO/FLE (French as a Foreign/Second Language) will be an asset
An additional certification in LCA Latin or experience teaching Latin in middle and high school

Located near the economic heart of the capital, the Lycée Français de Manille is an AEFE-accredited school within the French international education network, welcoming 320 students from preschool to high school.
