Professeur de Sciences Physiques/Technologies

Mission

The Lycée Français de Manille is recruiting a Physics-Chemistry and Technology teacher!

Under the authority of the Head of School and in line with the school’s educational project, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching physical sciences in accordance with the official French curriculum for middle and high school
Teaching technology and EIST (Integrated Science and Technology Education) in middle school, and SNT (Digital and Computer Science) in high school
Designing and implementing varied teaching sequences
Promoting scientific inquiry and critical thinking
Assessing students in line with competency frameworks and monitoring their progress
Preparing students for French national examinations (DNB, Baccalauréat)
Participating in parent-teacher meetings, class councils, pedagogical meetings, and training activities
Contributing to interdisciplinary, scientific, and educational projects within the school
Supporting students in their academic pathways and career guidance
Actively participating in school life and contributing to the outreach and reputation of LFM

Profile

We are looking for a dynamic and committed teacher, capable of teaching physical sciences and technology (prior teaching experience in this field will be appreciated).

A degree in the subject taught is strongly preferred. Likewise, experience in a school within the French international education network and/or experience teaching EIST and SNT will be highly valued.
