On Thursday January 11, 4e students (grade 8) visited the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOCS). The institute's role is to ensure public safety by providing reliable information, warnings and evacuation plans in the event of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes or tsunamis.
